Since 1996 I've been studying bird banding at Riveredge
Nature Center in Newburg, Wisconsin. I also band as part of the Milwaukee County Avian Migration Monitoring Partnership and assist with banding at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Field Station. I own www.sherkow.com
for my computer consulting business. I started this picture gallery
because friends had asked about the birds I've banded and some of
the plants at Riveredge.
While these birds have been banded at Riveredge all of these birds
and plants can be seen in my backyard in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.
